The changing of seasons

At the moment, the world is in a state of change. We do not know what our new normal is going to look like or how the current changes are going to have a lasting effect on our lives or even if the current changes will have a lasting impact on our lives. This reminds of Ecclesiastes 3 which says “that there is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to lament and a time to cheer.”

I don’t know about you but for me, it really brings home the fact that there is a right time for every emotion and everything that occurs in our lives.  It also means that every stage of our lives looks at he very least, a little different.

At the moment, with COVID-19 forcing the entire world to change how we live our lives, the entire world is in a state of change and for some its positive and for others it may not be so positive. For example, while my husband and I are able to work from home where as some of our friends have lost jobs and are not doing well. Whether this is financially, emotionally, or socially.

Thankfully, we have a heavenly father who loves us so much. He wants us to let him into our lives so he can be with us during our times of celebration as well as during our times of commiserations.  Our heavenly father wants to be celebrating or commiserating with us and not watching from afar as we struggle through life. He loves us regardless of the season of life we are in.

So I have a question for you, will you let God be there with you in your current season?
